Parks is a poet, singer and musician who’s music incorporates elements of folk, indie and R and B.

She has been releasing music since 2018, but gained international attention when she won the 2021 Mercury Prize, a coveted British music award for the years best album with her record Collapsed in Sunbeams.

She has toured widely and performed on national television numerous times.
