Black history month is upon us! Here at the school we love to use this month to shine a light on amazing Black artists around the world!
This year we’ve chosen to to focus on current Black musicians creating extraordinary art.
Arlo Parks
Introducing Arlo Parks from England!
Parks is a poet, singer and musician who’s music incorporates elements of folk, indie and R and B.
She has been releasing music since 2018, but gained international attention when she won the 2021 Mercury Prize, a coveted British music award for the years best album with her record Collapsed in Sunbeams.
Performances
She has toured widely and performed on national television numerous times.
