Amazing staff and coaches. My daughter absolutely loves her lessons. There’s always extras like group lessons available which is awesome. Whenever the coach will be away, a lot of notice is given and the sub she did have was amazing as well. Will continue with Arts as the progress I’ve seen in my daughter is priceless.

Our 6 year old has been learning guitar with Adrian for the past year and a half. We could not be more happy with Adrian as a teacher. The commitment and fun he brings to every lesson is so impressive. How he has managed to keep our child’s attention, teach him and make it entertaining is so lovely to watch. We have watched our child go from having zero guitar education to reading music and playing songs. Our child is so stoked to see Adrain every week and has told us he’s basically part of the family. The administration staff at the school are also a pleasure and very accommodating whenever we are in contact with them. All around Toronto Arts Academy is everything and more we hoped for.

I started taking voice lessons at Toronto Arts Academy as an adult student with essentially zero training. While it was something I’ve been wanting to do for myself for a while, I was nervous and worried about feeling self-conscious. From my very first class with Amy, she managed to get me out of my shell and make feel comfortable and confident. I have so much fun in our classes, and feel like I’ve made real, measurable progress in just a few months. Amy has a responsive and adaptable teaching style. She’s extremely good at figuring out new ways to communicate ideas, and figuring out the right approach to make a concept “click” for her students. Her enthusiasm and encouragement are motivating and make it impossible to feel daunted or intimidated by new challenges. Besides working to improve technique, Amy encourages her students to experience singing as an opportunity for creative self-expression and unselfconscious fun. I can’t recommend Amy and the rest of the TAA staff highly enough.

Fun to learn. My two boys enjoy very much. Teacher and staff are very helpful and nice.

In 3 months my kid can play drums and loves it. He just turned 6 years old and is full of confidence and always eager to learn more and more. Enrolled him in drum lessons is one of the best decisions we made so far.

My son, Zion, enjoys the classes so much! He looks forward to his lesson every week. He started with voice lessons but he got interested in guitar and he’s doing great in both! The teachers and staff just make learning so easy and fun for the students 🙂 No regrets here 🙂

Our daughter is taking voice lesson through Toronto Arts Academy school. She really loves her lesson. Her teacher has been so patient and inspiring. Actually all the teachers are incredibly talented, exceptionally positive in sharing their love of music to their students. They asked what the kids wanted to learn to play and this made students feel empowered and excited about their music. The office staff is friendly and understanding. The waiting area is warm, comfortable and entertaining, filled with magazines for adult to read on and some toys for children to play on just pass the time while waiting.
Our family have attended two successful recitals. Personally I was amazed to witness each student, regardless of their level of knowledge, perform their piece with excitement and enthusiasm. It was evident that the teachers of Toronto Arts Academy school encouraged each student to bring part of his or her own character into the music.
Communications with Toronto Arts Academy school is always excellent — all contacts are very clear and prompt.
The experience has been a pleasure for our family!!! We would highly recommend Toronto Arts Academy School to anyone! 🙂

When I first contacted the Toronto Arts Academy, I was very nervous – never tried singing or playing anything in my life and wasn’t sure I could do it. They found for me a perfect time spot and assigned me to Galen – most welcoming teacher I’ve ever head. We’ve had 3 classes so far but I already feel so confident! I enjoy my experience with TAA and I do recommend that you give it a try – they make learning as easy as it gets!

Great vibe, teachers are so passionate and they care a lot for kids to succeed. Love the performances twice a year that boost kid’s self esteem. The best music school where everyone is given the chance to learn and grow despite different challenges, like special needs, etc. My both girls love it and I am very happy with their achievements.

The staff, both at the front desk and the teacher, are always friendly and helpful. They have been very accommodating about lessons during this most challenging time, and very helpful in answering any questions we had. The teacher we’ve had is very engaging and patient, and has a very effective teaching style – especially with small children with short attention spans over Zoom. While we haven’t had an opportunity to take part in the mulitude of extra group classes being offered so far, I really like the idea of giving kids this extra opportunity to learn about other types of musical learning than the private lessons they are offered. Thank you so much in helping our child get a good start in learning about the fun world of music!

The teachers are great. Hearing them talk about your child and their progress shows that the teachers really know what they are doing and are equally passionate in sharing these knowledge with our children.

If you are looking for a music school with the best teachers, a comfortable learning environment, and encouraging teaching styles this is the place! Before I started here I was concerned about only having 30 minute lessons but the teaching they can pack in such a short time is phenomenal. The 30 minute lessons are also amazing cause they fit well into busy schedules. Most music schools I’ve attended have had long and rather boring performances and some that you even had to pay for! Well that isn’t the case here. You can choose a time slot when it best fits your schedule to perform and you don’t have to buy tickets. My vocal ability has improved greatly since first attending. As for the teachers, they really care about the students and want to see them improve. All the teachers are highly qualified and amazing at what they do. I’ve been to many music schools in Toronto and this is by far the best one!

Great place, it’s like cheers in there you walk in and everyone knows your name.
The program is flexible and the teachers are very friendly and talented.
I never have to ask where I want the lessons direction to go; it’s like she a mind reader. I will walk in thinking hmm I should tell her I want to focus on this today, and before I even get a chance to mention it she asks so “how is this coming along”. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for lessons. I must say the adds outside make it look like a kids only place but it is for all ages! You should definitely check them out.
